“GLASGOW ROSE’ PATCH ROGERS - ‘VERDIGRIS'

£196.00

High quality printed cotton velvet

Produced in collaboration with Rosebank Fabrics, an established Textile Mill , north of Manchester, who were involved with supplying Liberty and other retail outlets throughout the Arts & Crafts period.

This design was inspired by an original piece of Glasgow School velvet fabric found by Patch who believes it may have been designed around 1895-1900 and possibly used by Liberty & Co.

The stylised Glasgow Rose design pays homage to Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Glasgow School of Art. The rose is a symbol of the Arts & Crafts Movement.

This beautiful velvet is suitable for all types of upholstery and curtaining and is designed to sit with traditional and contemporary interiors.
