Arts & Crafts oak bedroom suite with pewter inlay decoration in the medieval revival style, this style was one of Liberty’s strongest design styles.
Consisting:
Wardrobe with hammered iron fittings
Dressing table with pewter inlay decoration, adjustable mirror, slatted sides, flared uprights and hinged side flaps
Large 6ft wide bed re-worked from 2 singles. Inlaid with pewter having flared uprights Stencilled and leather bound canvas depicting pairs of owls hand painted by Eve Poland in the manner of CFA Voysey.

Provenance: This suite was commissioned for a house in Swansea circa 1900, the house is a little earlier 1875 in the Gothic style. We bought it directly from the house via auction.
